The SG05 Pro Autopilot computer is ideal for workboats and superyachts requiring IMO approved systems. It provides autopilot control from AP70 and AP80 control heads to CANbus steering systems and can be used as part of an IMO approved autopilot system. It is the ONLY IMO approved Autopilot for CANbus steering systems.
The Simrad SG05 Pro Autopilot computer has 2 SimNet ports to connect either via a drop-cable or inline as part of the network backbone.
For Micro-C based networks use the SimNet to Micro-C (male) converter cable (part number 24005729).
Note: IMO approval requires an AC80S/A to be present in the system.
