    9-inch Widescreen SolarMAX™ HD Display
    SolarMAX™ HD display technology delivers clear visibility in any conditions. Extra-wide viewing angles mean critical information is easily readable from anywhere in sight of the display, whether the operator is sitting or standing. Bright LED backlighting and an anti-reflective coating offer enhanced daytime visibility, while an optically bonded display panel prevents internal condensation.

    Reliable Control in All Conditions
    Switch seamlessly between intuitive touchscreen control with multi-touch gestures, and a full built-in keypad with rotary control dial. Every display function can be controlled by either the touchscreen or the keypad, and the touchscreen can be locked to provide a classic button and dial-only interface. Optional keypads such as the Simrad OP50 can be connected to provide remote operation or integrated chair-arm controls.

    Integrated Echosounder
    All NSS evo3 models feature built-in StructureScan® HD imaging, which combines DownScan and SideScan sonar to provide picture-like views of the seafloor ideal for fish-finding, surveys, and searches. Alternatively, ForwardScan® sonar offers a forward-looking bottom view to minimize the chance of running aground in shallow or poorly charted waters. NSS evo3 also features built-in CHIRP sonar for fish-finding and bottom-tracking applications, with dual transducer ports to allow simultaneous use of either StructureScan® HD or ForwardScan® and CHIRP or traditional sonar.

    Compatible with Simrad Expansion Modules
    NSS evo3 displays are compatible with Simrad expansion modules including StructureScan® 3D imaging, the S5100 sounder module with CHIRP technology, and many other plug-and-play network modules. Module capabilities can be shared between multiple displays, and sonar data from multiple sources can be viewed simultaneously on a single NSS evo3 display in a customisable split-screen configuration. The ability to add modules at any time makes systems easily adaptable to suit changing operational requirements, or to leverage competitive advantages of new technologies without requiring a complete refit.

    Radar System Control
    NSS evo3 is a fully-functional radar display for Halo™ Pulse Compression radar, Broadband Radar™, and HD Digital Radar solutions. Access pre-set modes, custom manual tuning, MARPA target tracking, guard zones, overlay views, and other radar-dependent features such as dual-range operation (available with Halo™ and Broadband Radar™ solutions).

    Simrad Autopilot Integration
    Integration with a Simrad autopilot system enables advanced waypoint and route navigation options. NSS evo3 is compatible with the Simrad AC70 commercial autopilot computer, and with a wide range of other Simrad autopilot systems. A networked Simrad autopilot can be controlled from any NSS evo3 display on board, ideal for vessels with multiple helm stations.

    AIS Integration (Class-A & Class-B)
    NSS evo3 displays are fully compatible with Simrad Class-A and Class-B AIS solutions, allowing targets from a networked AIS receiver to be overlaid on NSS evo3 charts and radar images. On systems where a Simrad DSC VHF radio is also installed, the NSS evo3 display can also be used to initiate DSC calls directly to AIS targets.

    NMEA 2000® Connectivity
    Industry-standard NMEA 2000® connectivity enables vessel-wide integration with a range of Simrad and third-party electronics including engines, sensors, digital instrumentation, remote controllers and more.

    Built-in 10 Hz GPS Receiver
    All NSS evo3 displays include an integrated high-gain, 10 Hz GPS/GLONASS receiver to accurately track position in real time aboard high-speed vessels. An external GPS receiver may be necessary in pilothouse installations or other situations where a GPS signal may be unavailable to the display.

    Customisable Function Key
    The NSS evo3 includes a user-programmable function key to provide instant access to commonly used display pages or features. Assign up to two actions – one triggered by a quick button press, and one by a long press. In a multi-display system, separate actions can be configured for each display to match operator needs.

    TripIntel™ Technology
    TripIntel™ technology automatically creates detailed trip logs including fuel consumption and efficiency, invaluable data to help minimize operational costs. Fuel data can be collected from compatible NMEA 2000® connected engines or via optional flow and level sensors.

    Efficient Navigation with Automatic Routing
    Automatic routing features can suggest the shortest route between two points, helping to minimize travel time and fuel costs aboard vessels where ad hoc routes must be planned on board. NSS evo3 supports Navionics Dock-to-dock Autorouting and C-MAP Easy Routing, available with select Navionics and C-MAP chart packages. Please note that automatic routing features are unavailable in North America.

    Navionics® SonarChart™ Live support
    Available with Navionics charts, SonarChart™ Live creates a depth-contour overlay using live sonar data from a NSS evo3 display’s built-in echosounder or a networked sonar module. The results are displayed on screen in real time, ideal aboard fishing vessels or diving charters where a detailed, to-the-minute view of the seafloor is a key advantage.

    Built-in GoFree™ Wi-Fi
    Built-in Wi-Fi enables easy system-wide software updates and online support, simplifying and expediting on-board maintenance. GoFree™ Wi-Fi also enables third-party features such as Navionics Plotter Sync waypoint synchronization, available with a compatible Navionics chart card and update subscription. GoFree™ Wi-Fi features can be used anywhere a Wi-Fi internet connection is available.

    Smartphone & Tablet Integration with GoFree™ Link
    Out on the water, GoFree™ Wi-Fi and the GoFree™ Link app enable NSS evo3 display mirroring on an Apple iPhone or Android smartphone, and remote control of the display from an Apple iPad or Android tablet. These features support a range of use cases from access to charts and instruments while away from the helm, to simpler maintenance with the ability to view real-time instrument and sensor data from anywhere on board. GoFree™ Link integration does not require an internet connection after the initial app download, and so incurs no on-going data costs.

    Multiple Mounting Options
    NSS evo3 displays can be bracket mounted for easy installation or retrofit, and feature watertight connectors suitable for outside use. Alternatively, displays can be flush mounted for a low-profile Glass Bridge aesthetic.

    NSS evo3 displays support a wide range of cartography options to suit any location and operational requirements. Select charts from multiple providers including C-MAP, Navionics, Insight, and NV Digital Charts.
